Farinata
Farinata (which literally means floured) is a thin, crisp, pizza-like pancake from LiguriaItaly which is also eaten in Alessandria and is similar to the socca from NiceFrance. It is made stirring chick pea flour into a mixture of water and olive oil to form a loose batter, and baking it in the oven. Farinata may be seasoned with fresh rosemarypepper and sea salt. Like pizza, it may also be topped with onionssausagesartichokesgorgonzola cheese or other ingredients.

Faina – imię żeńskie niejasnego pochodzenia, być może wywodzące się od gr. imienia mitologicznego Φαεννα (Phaenna), pochodzącego od φαεινος (phaeinos) – "błyszczący, lśniący". Imię to było przede wszystkim używane w Rosji. Jego patronką jest św. Faina, wspominana razem ze śwśw. Aleksandrą, Klaudią, Eufrazją, Matroną, Julitą, Tekuzą i Teodotem.
