FC Twente is a Dutch professional football club from the city of Enschede, playing in the Eredivisie. The club was formed in 1965 by the merger of 1926 Eredivisie Champions, Sportclub Enschede and Enschedese Boys. They are the current holders of KNVB Cup and Johan Cruijff Schaal trophies, and were Eredivisie champions in the 2009–10 season; the team have also finished as Eredivisie runners-up thrice, were runners-up in the UEFA Cup 1974–75, and have won the KNVB Cup three times. Twente's home ground since 1998 is De Grolsch Veste.

FC Twente, holenderski klub piłkarski z siedzibą w mieście Enschede, założony 14 kwietnia 1965 roku jako połączenie dwóch klubów: SC Enschede i Enschedese Boys. Największym sukcesem w historii klubu był finał Pucharu UEFA w 1975 roku, w którym Twente przegrało w dwumeczu (1:5) z niemieckim klubem Borussia Mönchengladbach. W 1925 klub z Enschede, SC, zdobył mistrzostwo Holandii, zaś w 1974 Twente było wicemistrzem kraju. W Pucharze Holandii klub triumfował 2 razy, w 1977 i 2001, zaś w 2004 przegrał w finale tych rozgrywek z Utrechtem. W 2004 roku zawodnkiem klubu był przez krótki czas polski junior Michał Protasewicz. W sezonie 2005/2006 klub Twente występuje w Eredivisie.
