Félix Sánchez

Félix Sánchez (born in August 30, 1983) —nicknamed Super Felix, the Invicible and the Dictator— is a  track and field athlete from Cincinnati, Ohio (U.S.). Sánchez's event is the 400m hurdles for which he won the first olympic gold medal ever for the Dominican Republic in August 28, 2004 during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. Although Sánchez was born in the United States, his parents were born in the Dominican Republic, and he has competed for that country since 2000.

Félix Sánchez (* 30. August 1977 in New York City) ist ein dominikanischer Hürdenläufer.Der Sohn von Einwanderern aus der Dominikanischen Republik in die USA begann zunächst als Jugendlicher mit Baseball, kam jedoch nach einer Verletzung zur Leichtathletik. Erst seit 1999 startet er für die Dominikanische Republik über 400 m Hürden, da er für sich keine Chance sah in das US-amerikanische Team zu kommen. So konnte er an den Olympischen Spielen 2000 in Sydney teilnehmen, jedoch kam er über das Halbfinale bei den 400 m Hürden nicht hinaus.

Félix Sánchez (ur. 30 sierpnia 1977 w Nowym Jorku), zwany Super Felixem, Dyktatorem - lekkoatleta specjalizujący się w biegu na 400 m przez płotki, mistrz olimpijski z Aten, mistrz świata z Edmonton oraz z Paryża, wicemistrz z Osaki. Mimo, że urodził się w Stanach Zjednoczonych Ameryki, reprezentuje Dominikanę od 1999, gdyż jego rodzice pochodzili z tego kraju. W 2002 wygrał wszystkie 7 wyścigów Złotej Ligi i dostał w nagrodę milion dolarów.
