Europe of Democracies and Diversities

Europe of Democracies and Diversities was a euro-sceptic political group with seats in the European Parliament between 1999 and 2004. Following the elections in 2004, the former MEPs of the group took MEPs from the new member countries on board and together, they registered the new group Independence and Democracy (IND/DEM).

Le groupe pour une Europe des démocraties et des différences était un groupe parlementaire européen eurosceptique qui a existé de 1999 à 2004. Il s'est transformé en groupe Indépendance/Démocratie en juillet 2004, pour tenir compte notamment de l'élargissement de l'Union européenne.

Europa der Demokratien und der Unterschiede (EDU), engl. Europe of Democracies and Diversities (EDD), frz. Europe des démocraties et des différences (EDD) war bis 2004 eine europakritische Fraktion im Europäischen Parlament. Sie bestand aus Parlamentariern aus vier verschiedenen Länder, namentlich Großbritannien (UK Independence Party), Frankreich (Chasse, Pêche, Nature, Tradition sowie Combats Souverainistes), Niederlande (ChristenUnie-SGP) und Dänemark (JuniBevægelsen).

Grupa na rzecz Europy Demokracji i Różnorodności (ang. Europe of Democracies and Diversities - EDD) - eurosceptyczna frakcja w Parlamencie Europejskim, która funkcjonowała w latach 1999 - 2004. Współprzewodniczącymi Grupy EDD (liczącej na koniec kadencji 18 posłów) byli: Holender Johannes Blokland, Duńczyk Jens-Peter Bonde i Francuz Jean Saint-Josse (ten ostatni do 2002). Po wyborach do Parlamentu Europejskiego w 2004 dotychczasowi członkowie oraz posłowie z nowo przyjętych do Unii Europejskiej krajów utworzyli nową frakcję o nazwie Niepodległość i Demokracja.
