Erzgebirge

The Ore Mountains (German: Erzgebirge, Czech: Krušné hory) are a mountain range in Germany and the Czech Republic. They form the border between both countries for 150 km, extending from the western border of Saxony to the Elbe river.The western portions of the Ore Mountains have the highest peaks. Klínovec (1244 m) on the Czech side and Fichtelberg (1214.6 m) on the German side are the highest mountains of this range. In the west the Ore Mountains adjoin the lower Bavarian Fichtelgebirge. In the east, the Elbe Sandstone Mountains on both banks of the Elbe river may be regarded as the easternmost extension of the Ore Mountains. East of the Elbe, the mountain chain continues as the Lusatian Mountains. The Ore Mountains slope gently away to the north, where the cities of Zwickau and Chemnitz are located in the foothills, but the southern incline is extremely steep.

Das Erzgebirge (tschechisch: Krušné hory) ist ein Mittelgebirge und bildet die natürliche Grenze zwischen Sachsen und Böhmen. Knapp nördlich der Kammlinie verläuft die Staatsgrenze zwischen Deutschland und Tschechien. Die höchsten Erhebungen sind Fichtelberg  und Keilberg (tschech. Klínovec) .

Rudawy (cze. Krušné hory, niem. Erzgebirge) - pasmo górskie o długości ok. 150 km i szerokości ok. 40 km w północnych Czechach i południowo-wschodnich Niemczech (Saksonia) w sąsiedztwie doliny rzeki Łaby. Część niemieckich gór średniej wysokości (Deutsches Mittelgebirge). Najwyższym szczytem Rudaw jest czeski Klínovec (niem. Keilberg) - 1244 m n.p.m., najwyższym szczytem po stronie niemieckiej - Fichtelberg (1215 m n.p.m.). Największe miasto w pobliżu to Drezno.

I Monti Metalliferi (in tedesco: Erzgebirge; in ceco: Krušné hory) sono una catena montuosa situata al confine tra la Repubblica Ceca e la Germania.La catena montuosa si sviluppa per una lunghezza di circa 150 km ed è larga in media 40 km; massime elevazioni sono il Klínovec o Keilberg (1244 m s.l.m., in territorio ceco) ed il Fichtelberg (1214 m s.l.m., in territorio tedesco).Dal punto di vista geografico i Monti Metalliferi costituiscono uno dei quattro lati del quadrilatero boemo, separando nettamente con un andamento SO-NE la regione storico-geografica della Sassonia da quella della Boemia.
