Ernst Ahl
Ernst Ahl (1898–1943) was a German zoologist.He was the director of the department of ichthyology and herpetology in the Museum in Berlin.He was also the editor in chief from of the review Das Aquarium from 1927 to 1934.

Ernst Ahl
Ernst Ahl (* 1. September 1898 in Berlin; † wohl 1943 in Jugoslawien) war ein deutscher Zoologe, Ichthyologe und Herpetologe. 1921 promovierte er an der Berliner Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität mit der Arbeit Zur Kenntnis der Knochenfischfamilie Chaetodontidae insbesondere der Unterfamilie Chaetodontinae. Von 1921 bis 1941 arbeitete er am Zoologischen Museum der Berliner Universität; er war dort Leiter der Abteilungen für Fische und Kriechtiere. Außerdem war er von 1927 bis 1934 Chef-Redakteur der Zeitschrift Das Aquarium. Ahl war ein aktives Mitglied der NSDAP.
