Ernest Gallo
Ernest Gallo (March 18, 1909 – March 6, 2007) was the American co-founder of the E & J Gallo Winery. He was ranked 297th on the 2006 Forbes 400 list of billionaires. With his brother they founded the E.&J. Gallo Winery in 1933, at the end of Prohibition, using $5,900 in borrowed cash.

Ernest Gallo
Ernest Gallo (* 18. März 1909 in Jackson, Kalifornien; † 6. März 2007 in Modesto, Kalifornien) gehörte zu den Pionieren der US-amerikanischen Weinindustrie in Kalifornien. Er war zusammen mit seinem Bruder Julio der Gründer der Gallo Family Vineyards (vormals E. & J. Gallo Winery), die heute (2007) das weltgrößte Weingut in Familienbesitz halten und der zweitgrößte Weinproduzent der USA sind.

Ernest Gallo
Ernest Gallo (Jackson, Californië, 18 maart 1909 - Modesto, Californië, 6 maart 2007) was mede-oprichter van de E & J Gallo Winery, dat zijn naam onlangs liet veranderen in Gallo Family Vineyards. Hij stond in 2006 op de 297ste plaats van de lijst van 400 rijkste Amerikanen.
Na de dood van zijn ouders voedde Ernest samen met zijn vrouw Amelia (1910-1993), zijn broer Julio (1910-1993) en diens vrouw Aileen (1913-1999) hun dertien jaar oude broertje Joseph (1919-2007) op.
Hij was 62 jaar getrouwd met Amelia Franzia Gallo. Ze hadden twee zoons: David, die in 1997 overleed en Joseph.

Ernest Gallo
Ernest Gallo (18 de Março de 1909 - Modesto, Califórnia, 6 de Março de 2007) foi um vitivinicultor norte-americano, co-fundador da E & J Gallo Winery, que recentemente mudou o nome para Gallo Family Vineyards. Estava na 297ª posição na lista de bilionários norte-americanos da Forbes, em 2006.
Depois da morte dos pais, Ernest e o irmão, Julio (1910-1993), juntamente com as suas esposas, Amelia (1910-1993) e Aileen (1913-1999), acabaram de criar o seu irmão mais novo, Joseph (1919-2007), que na época tinha 13 anos. Em 1986, os irmãos processaram Joseph por usar o nome Gallo na sua etiqueta de lacticínios. Ernest e Julio ganharame as relações com Joseph passaram a ser definitivamente tensas.
