Ericsson to szwedzka firma produkująca sprzęt telekomunikacyjny. Spółka akcyjna notowana na giełdach sztokholmskiej i NASDAQ. Założona została w 1876 roku przez Larsa Magnusa Ericssona, jako warsztat naprawiający sprzęt telegraficzny. Centrala firmy znajduje się w Sztokholmie. W początkach XX wieku Ericsson był światowym potentatem w produkcji ręcznych central telefonicznych. W Polsce pierwsza centrala tego producenta została uruchomiona w Warszawie w 1904 roku, we współpracy z firmą Cedergrena (zob. PAST).

Ericsson) è una compagnia svedese manufatturiera di apparecchiature per le telecomunicazioni, fondata nel 1876 come negozio di riparazione di telegrafi da Lars Magnus Ericsson.A seguito di un accordo con la Sony, la produzione di telefoni cellulari è ora realizzata dalla joint venture Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB conosciuta anche col nome Sony Ericsson.
