Epirus is a geographical and historical region in southeastern Europe, shared between Greece and Albania. It lies between the Pindus Mountains and the Ionian Sea, stretching from the Bay of Vlorë in the north to the Ambracian Gulf in the south. It is currently divided between the region of Epirus in northwestern Greece and the counties of Gjirokastër, Vlorë, and Berat in southern Albania. The largest city in Epirus is Ioannina, seat of the region of Epirus, with Gjirokastër the largest city in the Albanian part of Epirus.

Epirus (grekiska: Ήπειρος, albanska: Epir) är ett historiskt område som idag omfattar fyra prefekturer i södra Albanien  (Gjirokastër, Vlorë, Berat och Korçë), och distriktet Epirus i nordvästra Grekland. Invånarna kallas epiroter.

Epirus eller Ιpiros (gresk Ήπειρος, Ípiros, albansk Epir) er en provins i nordvestlige Hellas og grenser til Vest-Makedonia og Thessalia i øst, Ambrisiske gulf og provinsen Vest-Hellas i sør, det Joniske hav og de Joniske øyer i vest og Albania i nord. Epirus er delt inn i prefektene, kalt nomoi, Arta, Ioannina, Preveza og Thesprotia. Provinsen har et område på 9 200 km² og en befolkning på 350 000. Hovedstaden og største by er Ioannina med 100 000 innbyggere. Befolkningen i dag er nesten utelukkende greskspråklig og religionen er gresk ortodoks. Der er små romani-minoriteter.
