In computing, Entrance is a display manager for the X Window System designed with the Enlightenmentwindow manager in mind. In other words, it's a program that lets you log in to a (probably Unix-based) computer. It is made using the Enlightenment Foundation Libraries, graphical toolkit written in C that makes good-looking applications viable for low-resource machines. In the screenshot to the right, for example, the analog clock really ticks, the big logo in the middle shines, the sessions list slides out cleanly from the central box, and the two buttons (for resetting and halting) also have an on-hover effect.
