Ems (river)
The Ems (; ) is a river in northwestern Germany and the northeastern Netherlands. It runs through the states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony, and discharges into the Wadden Sea. Its total length is 371 km. The state border between the Lower Saxon area of East Friesland (Germany) and the province of Groningen (Netherlands), whose exact course is the subject of a border dispute between Germany and the Netherlands, runs through the Ems estuary.

Ems
Die Ems (lateinisch Amisia; westfälisch iems, nordniedersächsisch Eems, saterfriesisch: Oamse) ist ein Fluss im Nordwesten der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und im Nordosten der Niederlande. Er entspringt bei Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock in Westfalen und fließt weiter durch das Bundesland Niedersachsen. Ab dem Dollart bildet die Ems die teilweise umstrittene Grenze zur niederländischen Provinz Groningen. Sie mündet zwischen Emden und Eemshaven in die Nordsee.

Ems (rzeka)
Ems, rzeka w północno-zachodnich Niemczech, w Westfalii i Dolnej Saksonii, o długości 371 km i powierzchni dorzecza ok. 18 000 km².
Rzeka wypływa ze źródeł u południowego podnóża Lasu Teutoburskiego, ok. 15 km na północ od Paderbornu, a koło Emden uchodzi estuarium do zatoki Dollart na Morzu Północnym.
Rzeka jest żeglowna na odcinku 238 km. Połączona jest kanałami z Wezerą, Łabą, zatoką Jade, zatoką IJsselmeer oraz z Kanałem Dortmund-Ems.
