Eleuthera
Eleuthera, sometimes spelled Eleuthra, is an island in The Bahamas, lying 50 miles (80 km) east of Nassau. It is long and thin—110 miles (180 km) long and in places little more than wide. According to the 2000 Census, the population of Eleuthera is approximately 8,000. The name "Eleuthera" is derived from the feminine form of the Greek word (eleutheros), "free".

Eleuthera
Eleuthera ist eine Insel der Bahamas, die 80 km östlich von Nassau liegt. Sie ist rund 180 km lang und an manchen Stellen weniger als einen Kilometer breit. Die Bevölkerung beträgt rund 8000 (2000). Der Name Eleuthera stammt vom griechischen Wort für „frei“.

Eleuterai
Eleuterai, besser Eleutherai (Griechisch: Ελευθέραι) ist eine Stadt im nördlichen Attika, welches an Böotien grenzt. Dieses war der mythische Herkunftsort des Dionysos. Es fanden alljährlich in ganz Griechenland die Dionysien statt. Es wird angenommen, dass durch den Tyrannen Peisistratos ca 530 v. Chr. die Dionysien begründet oder zumindest wiederbelebt wurde. Sie fanden in Athen am Ende März statt, als die Stadt noch einmal von den Besuchern nach dem Winter angefüllt war. Das Festival ehrte Dionysus Eleuthereus, von dem gesagt wurde, in Athen vom Dorf von Eleuterai eingeführt worden zu sein. In der griechischen Mythologie war es auch der Platz, in dem Antiope die Zwillinge Amphion und Zethos gebar, die von Zeus gezeugt wurden.

Elèuthera
Elèuthera è una piccola casa editrice di Milano.
Fondata nel 1986 come società cooperativa, l'editrice Eleuthera si propone fin dalla sua nascita di propugnare ideali di libertà, tanto nel motto "libri per una cultura libertaria" quanto nel nome derivato da una parola greca che significa libera. Senza aver mai aspirato a diventare una grande casa editice, è riuscita col tempo a raccogliere molti contributi di grandi autori come Enrico Baj, Ursula Le Guin, Noam Chomsky, Luigi Veronelli e Kurt Vonnegut. Ha inolte pubblicato alcuni grandi classici del pensiero anarchico e libertario tra i quali antologie di Michail Bakunin, Pëtr Kropotkin e Pierre-Joseph Proudhon.

Eleuthera (Eleutéria na sua forma aportuguesada) é uma das ilhas das Baamas. Localiza-se no nordeste do arquipélago e tem uma forma alongada e estreita, com 180 km de comprimento e apenas alguns quilómetros de largura. Tem cerca de 8 mil habitantes.
