El Aaiún

El-Aaiún or Laâyoune (Arabic: العيون, transliterated al-`ayūn), is a city in the Western Sahara and a former Spanish colony. Administered by Morocco, El-Aaiún is the capital of the Laâyoune-Boujdour-Sakia El Hamra region and it is located at (27.153611, -13.203333). [1]It is also claimed by the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic as their de jure capital of Western Sahara.
