Ed Miliband
Edward Samuel Miliband (born December 24, 1969, London, England) is a British economist and British politician. He has been chairman of the Treasury's Council of Economic Advisers, which directs the UK's long-term economic planning. He was elected Labour Member of Parliament for the South Yorkshire constituency of Doncaster North in the 2005 general election. He was appointed Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Minister of the Cabinet Office on June 28, 2007 making him and his brother David Miliband the first brothers to serve in Cabinet since Edward and Oliver Stanley. Miliband was also appointed to the Privy Council.
