Eclipse (IDE)

Eclipse is an open-source software framework written primarily in Java. In its default form it is a Java IDE, consisting of the Java Development Tools (JDT) and compiler (ECJ). Users can extend its capabilities by installing plug-ins written for the Eclipse software framework, such as development toolkits for other programming languages, and can write and contribute their own plug-in modules. Language packs are available for over a dozen languages.

Eclipse IDE est un environnement de développement intégré libre extensible, universel et polyvalent, permettant potentiellement de créer des projets de développement mettant en œuvre n'importe quel langage de programmation. Eclipse IDE est principalement écrit en Java (à l'aide de la bibliothèque graphique SWT, d'IBM), et ce langage, grâce à des bibliothèques spécifiques, est également utilisé pour écrire des extensions.

Eclipse ist ein Open-Source-Framework zur Entwicklung von Software nahezu aller Art. Die bekannteste Verwendung ist die Nutzung als Entwicklungsumgebung (IDE) für die Programmiersprache Java. Aber auch für die Entwicklung von Rich-Client-Applikationen auf Basis der Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP) wird es zunehmend häufiger eingesetzt. Eclipse ist nicht auf Java festgelegt und wird aufgrund seiner offenen plug-in-basierten Struktur mittlerweile für sehr unterschiedliche Entwicklungsaufgaben eingesetzt, da so die Notwendigkeit für jeden Nischenhersteller entfällt, seine eigene IDE für jedes Entwicklungstool zu entwickeln.

Eclipse - platforma (framework) napisana w Javie do tworzenia aplikacji typu Rich Client. Na bazie Eclipse powstało zintegrowane środowisko programistyczne do tworzenia programów w Javie, które jest razem z tą platformą rozpowszechniane. Projekt został stworzony przez firmę IBM, a następnie udostępniony na zasadach otwartego oprogramowania. W chwili obecnej jest on rozwijany przez Fundację Eclipse.

Zaćmienie –  zjawisko astronomiczne polegające na tym, że cień jednego ciała niebieskiego pada na powierzchnię drugiego. Możliwe jest ono, gdy w jednej linii znajdują się oba ciała oraz źródło światła, którym jest zazwyczaj gwiazda jako ciało świecące światłem własnym lub jakiś inny obiekt świecący światłem odbitym.
