The East Midlands is one of the regions of England, consisting of most of the eastern half of the traditional region of the Midlands. It encompasses the combined area of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire and most of Lincolnshire.

Östra Midlands (eng. East Midlands) är en av Englands nio regioner. Regionen har närmare 4 200 000 invånare och Nottingham som administrativt centrum. Den omfattar grevskapen Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire och den del av Lincolnshire som inte tillhör enhetskommunerna (unitary authorities) North Lincolnshire och North East Lincolnshire. De tre stora städerna Nottingham, Derby och Leicester är enhetskommuner och därmed administrativt fristående från sina respektive grevskap.

East Midlands - jeden z dziewięciu regionów Anglii. Stolicą jest Nottingham. Formalnie największe miasto to Leicester, ale de facto więcej mieszkańców ma aglomeracja Nottingham. Region stanowi także okręg wyborczy do Parlamentu Europejskiego, w którym wybiera się sześciu deputowanych. W miejscowości Castle Donington działa lotnisko East Midlands Airport (IATA: EMA), obsługujące cały region, a w szczególności miasta Nottingham, Leicester i Derby, wszystkie znajdujące się w promieniu 30 mil od niego.
