EDS (Elektronische Differentialsperre) - elektroniczna blokada mechanizmu różnicowego. Montowany często jest wraz z ESP lub ABS. Poprawia bezpieczeństwo i pewność prowadzenia auta.Gdy jedno z kół wpada w poślizg lub obraca się szybciej, EDS blokuje dyferencjał umożliwiając przeniesienie momentu obrotowego przez drugie koło mające lepszą przyczepność, zapobiegając w ten sposób poślizgowi.
