Dutch gulden

The gulden (usually called guilder in English), represented by the symbol ƒ or fl., was the currency of the Netherlands from the 13th century until 2002, when it was replaced by the euro. Between 1999 and 2002, the gulden was officially a "national subunit" of the euro. However, physical payments could only be made in gulden, as no euro coins and notes were available. Gulden are still in use in the Netherlands Antilles, a Dutch dependency, although this currency is distinct from the Dutch gulden. In 2004, the Surinamese gulden was replaced by the Surinamese dollar.

Le florin (ou gulden en néerlandais) (NLG) était l'unité monétaire du Royaume des Pays-Bas, de 1279 au 28 janvier 2002, date à laquelle il a perdu son cours légal. Le florin était divisé en 100 cents.

Die 5-Gulden-Münzen wurden dagegen erst am 1. Mai 1988 eingeführt.Scheine: 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 1000 Gulden Die 5-Gulden-Scheine wurden 1990 aus dem Verkehr gezogen. Die Emission der 50-Gulden-Scheine erfolgte 1981, die der 250-Gulden-Scheine 1986.

Il fiorino olandese (Nederlandse gulden) è il nome della valuta usata in Olanda dal XV secolo fino alla sostituzione da parte dell'euro. Sono ancora in uso due versioni del fiorino olandese: ad Aruba (il Fiorino arubano) e nelle Antille Olandesi (il Fiorino delle Antille Olandesi) mentre nel Suriname il Fiorino surinamese (SRG) è stato sostituito dal Dollaro surinamese (SRD) il 1 gennaio 2004.
