Drum Mountain White Cloud
This tea, known as "Gushan Baiyun", is grown on a mountain-top in northern Fujian where the monks at the historic Buddhist Drum Mountain Monastery traditionally grew it. Sir Robert Fortune, the eccentric English tea explorer, visited this place in the mid-19th century and praised this tea. Easy to drink, mild, sweet, and fragrant, with a soft nut-like flavor. Low in caffeine. Its a very light weight tea. Be sure to add a generous scoop to the pot. Benefits from a long steep with water well below boiling.
