Drama

Drama is the specific mode of fiction represented in performance. It is derived from a Greek word meaning "action" (Classical Greek ), derived from "to do" (Classical Greek ).Dramas are performed in various : theatre, radio, film, and television. Drama is often combined with music and dance: the drama in opera is sung throughout; musicals include spoken dialogue and songs; and some forms of drama have regular musical accompaniment (melodrama and Japanese Nō, for example). In certain periods of history (the ancient Roman and modern Romantic) dramas have been written to be read rather than performed. In improvisation, the drama does not pre-exist the moment of performance; performers devise a dramatic script spontaneously before an audience.

"Drama!" is the first single released by Erasure from their fourth studio album Wild!. It was issued by Mute Records in the UK and Sire Records in the U.S. Written by Vince Clarke and Andy Bell, the synth pop song begins with a low-key keyboard line and a subdued vocal from Bell. As the song progresses, the instrumentation and vocals become more hectic, ultimately ending as a full-blown dancefloor anthem. "Drama!" is known for its mob-shouted "Guilty!" exclamation throughout and Bell's intricate, multi-layered background vocals. Lyrically the song addresses a person who could be considered a , experiencing "one psychological drama after another" about everyday struggles that are universal and are easily dealt with by most people. Lines such as "your shame is never-ending!" are directed at the subject of the song. Interestingly, the mob's vocals were added to by The Jesus and Mary Chain, who happened to be recording in the studio next door.

Le drame (du latin) drama, emprunté au grec ancien δρᾶμα, « action (théâtrale), pièce de théâtre » désigne étymologiquement toute action scénique. C'est un genre théâtral caractérisé par le mélange des tons (refus de dissocier le comique et le tragique), l'introduction d'éléments réalistes ou comiques dans un contexte tragique ou pathétique.

Dramat (z gr. klama-bala czyli działanie, akcja) - jeden z trzech rodzajów literackich (obok liryki i epiki). Jest to właściwie rodzaj sztuki na granicy teatru i literatury. Wyksztalcił sie ze starogreckich obrzedow ku czci Dionizosa. Jako utwór literacki charakteryzuje się przede wszystkim tym, że jest tworzony w celu realizacji scenicznej, jednak występują też dramaty niesceniczne, których autorzy skupili się bardziej na rozbudowie samego tekstu. Ale i te granice są płynne, na początku uważano dramaty romantyczne za niesceniczne, podczas gdy dziś Dziady Adama Mickiewicza to jeden z najczęściej wystawianych dramatów.

Un dramma, dal greco "drama" (azione, storia; da δραν, fare), è una forma letteraria che include parti scritte per essere interpretate da attori. È sinonimo di testo teatrale, o opera teatrale.In senso lato, è un intreccio narrativo compiuto e destinato alla rappresentazione teatrale. Può essere in forma verbale scritta (ogni opera letteraria che preveda parti recitate o cantate) oppure improvvisata da un attore, o ancora in forma di narrazione non verbale, tramite la gestualità o la danza. Il termine dramma, se inteso in senso restrittivo, si applica esclusivamente alle scritte. Nell'opera lirica, si ricorre in genere al termine libretto.
