Dragon Well
This classic Green Tea famous since the eighth century is grown in the hills just west of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province, China. It is known for its flat leaf appearance, pleasant jade-green color, wonderful leafy aroma, and roasted nutty taste. Dragon Well is one of the famous tribute teas and is still carefully picked and processed completely by hand. The dried leaf is also very tasty as a culinary herb and is often used in cooking. Taste is at its best with water temperature between 170°-185°F. Steep 1-3 minutes. Experiment with even lower temperatures and longer steeping times.
