Djalminha
Djalminha, full name Djalma Feitosa Dias, (born December 91970 in São Paulo) is a former Brazilian football player. He played offensive midfielder with CR Flamengo and Deportivo de La Coruña.He received the Bola de Ouro (Brazilian Golden Ball award) in 1996 and has 17 caps with the Brazilian national team.Blessed with outrageous natural ability, Djalminha has a full catalogue of independently created tricks which have excited crowds of for each club he has played for. Indeed, this reliance on tricks and inventiveness has often wreaked havoc in his professional dealings with his managers. He classes the game of football as a "gladiatorial bout; my role is to entertain". This selfish and individualistic approach to the game has blunted his career and limited the sublime talent of the Brazilian to just 17 full international caps. However, it has made him a firm fans' favourite throughout the world.
