Direct 8 is a national French TV channel, owned by Vincent Bolloré. It is available through digital terrestrial television network "TNT" and the Astra 1H satellite position.

Można go także odbierać satelitarnie z Astry 19.2° Wschód. Liczba 8 sytuuje go w oficjalnej numeracji naziemnych kanałów cyfrowych, we francuskich telewizjach kablowych zajmuje zazwyczaj wyższy numer, np. 28 albo 38.
