The Diploma of College Studies (DCS or DEC, from the French Diplôme d'études collégiales) is issued by the province of Quebec, Canada at the completion of post-secondary studies at the college level. The diploma is awarded for two types of programs: two years of pre-university studies or three years of technical studies, leading to a career specialization. A DCS is the most common qualification for university admission in the province of Quebec however it is not required (other options include mature student entry or completion of ontario secondary 6).
