Dietrich Mateschitz (born 20 May 1944 in Sankt Marein im Mürztal, Styria, Austria) is an Austrian businessman of Croatian ancestry who co-founded the Red Bull energy drink company and holds 49 percent of the company's shares. Mateschitz's net worth, as of 2012, is estimated to be US$5.3 billion.
