Germany , officially the Federal Republic of Germany (, ), is a federal parliamentary republic in Europe. The country consists of 16 states while the capital and largest city is Berlin. Germany covers an area of 357,021 km² and has a largely temperate seasonal climate. With 81.8 million inhabitants, it is the most populous member state and the largest economy in the European Union. It is one of the major political powers of the European continent and a technological leader in many fields.

Deutschland ist ein föderalistischer Staat in Mitteleuropa. Die Bundesrepublik Deutschland ist gemäß ihrer Verfassung eine Republik, als solche ein freiheitlich demokratischer und sozialer Rechtsstaat und wird aus den 16 deutschen Ländern gebildet. Als Bundesstaat stellt sie die jüngste Ausprägung des deutschen Nationalstaates dar. Bundeshauptstadt ist Berlin.

L’Allemagne, appelée République fédérale d'Allemagne dans les usages officiels, est un pays d’Europe de l'Ouest, entouré par la mer du Nord, le Danemark et la mer Baltique au nord, par la Pologne et la République tchèque à l'est, par l'Autriche et la Suisse au sud et par la France, le Luxembourg, la Belgique et les Pays-Bas à l'ouest.

Tyskland, formellt Förbundsrepubliken Tyskland , är en förbundsstat belägen i Centraleuropa bestående av 16 delstater (Länder eller Bundesländer). Tyskland är även ett av världens ledande industriländer. Landet gränsar i norr mot Nordsjön, Östersjön och Danmark, i öster mot Polen och Tjeckien, i söder mot Österrike och Schweiz, samt i väster mot Frankrike, Luxemburg, Belgien och Nederländerna.

Niemcy (Republika Federalna Niemiec, RFN, niem.: Deutschland lub Bundesrepublik Deutschland, BRD) – państwo federacyjne położone w Europie Środkowej, będące członkiem Unii Europejskiej, Unii Zachodnioeuropejskiej (UZE), G8 oraz NATO. Do 1970 (do traktatu między RFN a Polską) w Polsce stosowana była oficjalnie nazwa Niemiecka Republika Federalna (NRF). Niemcy mają dostęp do Morza Bałtyckiego i Morza Północnego. Stolica to Berlin (przed przyłączeniem NRD – Bonn, obecnie noszące tytuł miasta federalnego).
