Deutsche Flugsicherung
The Deutsche Flugsicherung (DFS) is the company in charge of air traffic control for Germany. It is a company organized under private law and 100% owned by the Federal Republic of Germany. Since 1994, DFS has been responsible for handling both civil and military air traffic in peacetime, removing a prior separation of traffic between controllers.

Deutsche Flugsicherung
Die DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH ist entsprechend Artikel 87d des Grundgesetzes eine bundeseigene Verwaltung, die in der Form einer GmbH organisiert ist. Sie befindet sich komplett im Eigentum der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, die durch das Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Bau und Stadtentwicklung (BMVBS) vertreten wird.
