Decimus Junius Brutus

Decimus Junius Brutus was the name of four Roman politicians of the Republican era. All were members of the Brutus family. Decimus Junius Brutus Scaeva was consul in 325 BC. Decimus Junius Brutus Scaeva was consul in 292 BC. He is best known for introducing  gladatorial games to Rome in 264 BC.Decimus Junius Brutus Callaicus led several armies during the Roman conquest of Iberia in the second century BC.Decimus Junius Brutus Albinus was one of the conspirators in the assassination of Julius Caesar in the first century BC.
