Day of Judgement

In Christian eschatology, the Last Judgment or Day of the Lord is the judgment by Jesus Christ of every human who ever lived. It will take place after the resurrection of the dead and the Second Coming (Revelation 20:12–15). This belief has spawned numerous artistic depictions.There is little agreement among Christian groups on what happens after death and before the Last Judgment.

De Dag des oordeels is een mythisch begrip voor een dag die in zowel joodse, christelijke als islamitische religieuze boeken wordt genoemd als de dag waarop over alle mensen een oordeel geveld zal worden door God. De dag des oordeels vormt de kern van de eschatologie van deze drie geloven.
