Dargaud

Les Éditions Dargaud is a publisher of Franco-Belgian and French comic book series. It was founded in 1943 by Georges Dargaud.Initially, Dargaud published novels for women. In 1948, they started Line, a "magazine for elegant women", as well as a French edition of the Belgian Tintin magazine.In 1960, Dargaud bought the weekly magazine Pilote from René Goscinny, Albert Uderzo, and Jean-Michel Charlier, and the same year they published their first albums. Uderzo continued as editor of the magazine, and Charlier was album editor for a period.

Dargaud ist ein französischer Comicverlag, der unter anderem durch das Comicmagazin Pilote (1959-1989) bekannt wurde. Dargaud gehört seit 1987 zur französisch-belgischen Mediengruppe Média-Participations, zu der unter anderem auch Dupuis und Le Lombard gehören.

Dargaud to francuskie wydawnictwo komiksowe z siedzibą w Paryżu, założone w 1943 roku przez Georges'a Dargaud. Od 2004 roku należy do Groupe Dargaud, kontrolowanej przez Média-Participations.Początkowo wydawnictwo specjalizowało się w powieściach dla kobiet. Publikowało także czasopismo dla pań Line i francuską wersję belgijskiego Tintin Magazine. W 1960 roku Dargaud przejęło tygodnik komiksowy Pilote od René Goscinny'ego, Alberta Uderzo i Jean-Michela Charlier i zaczęło wydawać albumy komiksowe.
