Paul Cohen
Paul Joseph Cohen, (né 2 avril 1934 à Long Branch (New Jersey) et mort le 23 mars 2007), est un mathématicien américain. Il est surtout connu pour avoir démontré en 1963 que l'hypothèse du continu était indépendante des axiomes de la théorie des ensembles de Zermelo-Fraenkel, travaux qui lui ont valu la Médaille Fields en 1966.
