Düsseldorf International Airport

Düsseldorf International Airport , is the third largest airport in Germany with 16.6 million passengers predicted to pass through this year. Only Munich International Airport and Frankfurt International Airport have more passengers. The airport serves as an important hub for the airline LTU and as an important secondary hub for Lufthansa. Lufthansa has about 300 flights per day (53 destinations) from or to Düsseldorf. Lufthansa also announced to inaugurate new longhaul services to Toronto and an aircraft upgrade to Chicago and New York by May 2008. The airport's 70 hosted airlines support flights to 186 non-stop-destinations on all continents (except for Oceania). The airport has up to 750 takeoffs and landings per day. Düsseldorf International Airport is located nine kilometres from the center of Düsseldorf, Germany, and is the primary airport for the Rhein-Ruhr region--the largest urban area in Germany and among the largest metropolitan areas of the world.

L'aéroport international de Düsseldorf (code AITA : DUS ; code OACI : EDDL) est situé à 8 km au nord de Düsseldorf. Der Flughafen Düsseldorf International ist ein deutscher Flughafen in Düsseldorf. Er wurde am 19. April 1927 eröffnet und ist heute das wichtigste internationale Drehkreuz des bevölkerungsreichsten Bundeslandes Nordrhein-Westfalen. Von den Passagierzahlen her ist der Düsseldorfer Flughafen drittgrößter in Deutschland. Insgesamt starten von Düsseldorf aus jährlich 18 Millionen Menschen mit 75 verschiedenen Fluggesellschaften zu weltweit 175 Zielen in 62 Ländern. Nach dem Scheitern von Anwohnerklagen wächst der Airport weiter, hier vor allem der Interkontinental- und Tourismusflugverkehr, da in erster Linie die Lufthansa ihr Angebot erheblich ausgebaut hat und der Ferienflieger LTU hier beheimatet ist. Düsseldorf International besitzt mit dem 87m hohen Turm der DFS den höchsten Kontrollturm Deutschlands.

Port lotniczy Düsseldorf (Flughafen Düsseldorf) - międzynarodowy port lotniczy położony 6 km na północ od Düsseldorfu. Jest jednym z największych portów lotniczych Niemiec. Uroczyste otwarcie portu miało miejsce 19 kwietnia 1927. W 2006 obsłużył 16,60 mln pasażerów.

Luchthaven Düsseldorf International (Düsseldorf International Airport) (IATA: DUS, ICAO: EDDL) is de derde grootste luchthaven van Duitsland en behoort zeker tot de top 100 wereldwijd.Het is een tweede hub voor Lufthansa. Het ligt 8 km ten noorden van de stad Düsseldorf zelf, in Noordrijn-Westfalen. Het bedient 150 bestemmingen, met 101 luchtvaartmaatschappijen komend vanuit alle windstreken. Het biedt overigens geen enkele vlucht aan naar het verre continent Oceanië. Het heeft 500 starts en landingen per dag.
