Condé Nast Publications Inc is a worldwide magazine publishing company based in New York City. Their office is located at 4 Times Square. The company also has offices in  Los AngelesChicagoBostonParisMilan, and elsewhere. Condé Nast is credited with creating the now widely used magazine marketing strategy emphasizing magazines focused on a particular class or interest, sometimes known as lifestyle magazines. Many Condé Nast magazines have their principal focus in fashion, although the company's publications also include travel, food and wine, architecture, celebrity gossip, and other interests. S.I. Newhouse recently announced the launch of his newest magazine, a business monthly to be called Condé Nast Portfolio.
