Colombia officially the Republic of Colombia (, ), is a country located in the northwestern region of South America. Colombia is bordered to the east by Venezuela and Brazil; to the south by Ecuador and Peru; to the North by the Atlantic Ocean, through the Caribbean Sea; and to the west by Panama and the Pacific Ocean. Besides the countries in South America, the Republic of Colombia is recognized to share maritime borders with the Caribbean countries of Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Central American countries of Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica.

Colômbia (Portuguese for Colombia) is a municipality in the northern part of the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2003 is 6,299 and the area is 731.46 km² The elevation is 492 m. The bounding municipalities are Barretos to the south and Guaíra to the east. To the north is the Grande River as well as the state of Minas Gerais and the municipality of Frutal formerly bounded on the river.
