Chocó is a department of Colombia known for its large Afro-Colombian population. It is in the west of the country, and is the only Colombian department to have coastlines on both the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. It also has all of Colombia's border with Panama. Its capital is Quibdó.

Östlich liegen die Provinzen Antioquia und Risaralda. Im Süden grenzt Chocó an die Provinz Valle del Cauca. Neben der Hauptstadt Quibdó existieren im Chocó noch 30 weitere Gemeinden. Bei der Volkszählung 2005 lebten 441.395 Menschen im Chocó.

Choco est un des 32 départements de la Colombie, localisé dans le nord-est du pays. il est le seul département qui possède des côtes sur les deux océans, Atlantique et Pacifique. Il est également le seul département limitrophe du Panamá. C'est une des régions les plus arrosées de la planète.
