Chivasso is a
comune (municipality) in the
Province of Turin in the
Italian region
Piedmont, located about 20 km northeast of
Turin. As of
31 December 2004, it had a population of 23,675 and an area of 51.3 km².The municipality of Chivasso contains the
frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Montegiove, Betlemme, Torassi, Castelrosso, Pogliani, Borghetto, Mosche, Mandria, Boschetto, and Pratoregio.Chivasso borders the following municipalities:

San Benigno Canavese,
