China Southwest Airlines

China Southwest Airlines (中国西南航空公司) was an airline based in the People's Republic of China. It merged into Air China in 2002.The airline was head quartered at Chengdu, Sichuan. It also maintained a hub at Chongqing and was the sole carrier flying to Lhasa until 2002. Although it mainly served domestic routes within southwestern China and between southwestern China and the other regions in China, it also had limited international services to Bangkok, Chiangmai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Osaka and Seoul from its bases in southwestern China.
