The Chernyakhiv culture (also known as Cherniakhov culture) (second century to fifth century) was found in the Ukraine and parts of Belarus. The eponymous site is the village of Cherniakhiv in Ukraine's Kiev Oblast (Chernyakhov in Russian). It existed in the 2nd-5th centuries AD. Around the year 300, the culture extended into Romania where it is called the Sîntana de Mureş culture. It is attested to in thousands of sites.
