Chelsea F.C.

Chelsea Football Club (also known as The Blues or previously The Pensioners) are an English professional football club based in west London. Founded in 1905, they play in the Premier League and have spent most of their history in the top tier in English football. They have had two broad periods of success, one during the 1960s and early 1970s, and the second from the late 1990s to the present day. Chelsea have won three league titles, four FA Cups, four League Cups and two UEFA Cup Winners' Cups.

Der FC Chelsea (offiziell: Chelsea Football Club) – im deutschsprachigen Raum auch als Chelsea London bekannt – ist ein englischer Fußballclub, der im Jahre 1905 von den Mears-Brüdern gegründet wurde. Chelsea Football Club – (również znani jako The Blues oraz wcześniej The Pensioners) angielski klub piłkarski, założony w 1905 r. w zachodnim Londynie przez dwójkę przedsiębiorców Gesa Marsa oraz Fredericka Parkera. Chelsea gra obecnie w najwyższej piłkarskiej klasie rozgrywkowej w Anglii - Premier League, w której spędziła zresztą znaczną większość swojej historii. Na lata świetności klubu z zachodniego Londynu przypadają dwa okresy: lata 60. oraz wczesne 70., oraz drugi okres: późne lata 90. do dzisiaj. Klub jest trzykrotnym mistrzem Anglii (1955, 2005, 2006), czterokrotnym zwycięzcą Pucharu Anglii i Pucharu Ligi Angielskiej oraz trzykrotnym zwycięzcą w rozgrywkach o Tarcze Wspólnoty. Klub z Londynu odnosił także sukcesy w Europie m.in. 2 razy wywalczenie Pucharu Zdobywców Pucharów i raz Superpucharu Europy. Obecnie właścicielem Chelsea jest rosyjski multimiliarder Roman Abramowicz.

Il Chelsea Football Club è una società calcistica inglese che, malgrado il nome, non ha sede nell'omonimo quartiere di Londra, bensì nel vicino borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Fondato nel 1905, il club milita nella Premier League del campionato inglese e disputa le partite casalinghe nello stadio Stamford Bridge del quartiere di Fulham (42.360 posti).
