Cha-Cha-Cha

The cha-cha-cha (in Spanish cha-cha-chá and also known simply as the cha-cha) is a style of dance music. In 1951, Cuban composer and violinist Enrique Jorrín introduced the cha-cha-chá to Cuban dance floors while playing with Orquesta América. According to Jorrín, the sound made by the shoes of the dancers on the floor sounded like "cha-cha-cha", while they tried to follow the new rhythm that, at the beginning, was simply called "mambo-rumba". In 1953, his La Engañadora and Silver Star became recorded hits. In early days, this dance and its music were both known as "triple mambo" or "mambo with guiro rhythm".

Le Cha-cha-chá est un genre musical  inventé en 1954 par le violoniste cubain Enrique Jorrin, de la charanga Orquesta America, dans la première partie du morceau Engañadora (l'autre partie est un rythme de mambo). Le mot « cha-cha-chá» , qui désigne également une danse, n'apparaît que dans le morceau Silver Star, et provient du son produit par le frottement des pieds des danseurs sur le sol.

Der Cha-Cha-Cha [] ist ein moderner, paarweise getanzter Gesellschaftstanz kubanischen Ursprungs. Der Begriff Cha-Cha-Cha entstand in Anlehnung an den Sound der Maracas, welche ein typisches Begleitinstrument bei dieser Musikrichtung sind.Der Cha-Cha-Cha in seiner weltweit verbreiteten westlichen Variante gehört zu den lateinamerikanischen Tänzen des Tanzsports und wird als Bestandteil des Welttanzprogramms in Tanzschulen unterrichtet. Die ursprüngliche kubanische Form des Cha-Cha-Cha unterscheidet sich in Technik und Figurenrepertoire stark vom heutigen Turniertanz und ist in der spanischen Schreibweise Cha-cha-chá [] in der modernen Salsa-Szene anzutreffen.

Cha-cha, cha-cha-cha to najmłodszy kubański, latyno-amerykański taniec towarzyski w metrum parzystym 4/4 i typowym tempie 32-33 takty/min, wywodzący się z rumby i mambo. Taniec cha-chy opiera sie na kroku chassis czyli kroku w formacie odstaw-dostaw-odstaw.Do tylu są wykonywane kroki chasse tzw.back locki a w przód lock stepy.W cha-chy trzeba mieć mocne i przeprostowane nogi aby wyglądało to efektownie. W stylu i sposobie tańczenia zmieniał się bardzo często. Jego autorem był Pierre Lavelle. Początkowo ważna była forma staccato, która polegała na ostrym zginaniu i prostowaniu kolan. Z czasem została zastąpiona łagodniejszą, lecz równie rytmiczną akcją nóg. Forma taneczna cha-chy została ustalona dopiero w 1953. Po raz pierwszy zatańczono ten taniec w Niemczech w 1957, a Gerd Hadrich zademonstrował pierwsze kroki. Cha-cha ma w sobie dużo elementów rumby, beatu. Wiele osób uczy się tego tańca. Ma on umiarkowanie szybkie tempo.

Il Cha cha cha è una danza latino-americana.Nato a Cuba nei primi anni del XX secolo, si chiamava in origine Cha Cha. In seguito fu contaminato da altre danze: Mambo, Rumba, Danzon e Son. Esistono 4 differenti ipotesi sul significato letterale dell'espressione "Cha Cha Cha":Attributo onomatopeico strettamente legato al ritmo della danza, scandito dal tempo delle percussioni.Riproduzione del suono prodotto dalle scarpe durante la danza, in particolar modo nel triplo passo."Cha cha" è il nome di un sonaglio cubano, propriamente adoperato durante la danza.Riproduzione del suono emesso dallo sbattere dei piedi sul bagnoasciuga.
