Central Park SummerStage

Central Park SummerStage is an outdoor concert venue in Central Park (New York City), presenting free music, dance, spoken word, and film events produced by City Parks Foundation, throughout the summer months. Central Park SummerStage was founded in 1985 by The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, with support from Creative Time, and then taken over by the Central Park Conservancy in 1988, its management was transferred to City Parks Foundation in 1994.
