Center for Latin American Monetary Studies

Founded in September 1952 as a school to train Latin American central bank personnel. Aims are to increase understanding of monetary, central banking and bank supervision questions in Latin America, particularly with regard to financial policies; undertake research and synthesize the experience acquired in these fields; and to help in training personnel of central banks and other financial institutions.
