Cauterize (band)
For information on cauterization (medical treatment), see Cauterization. Cauterize was a rock band from Oshawa, OntarioCanada; previously known as T.O.E. They released five albums; the final being Disguises, which was released on June 12, 2007.As T.O.E., the band released two independent records; Take Off Eh! and The Moment I Cauterize. The band then signed with US record label Wind-up Records, which released one of the band's album; 2003's So Far From Real. The album included the song "Something Beautiful", which was turned into a music video. The singles "Choke" and "Killing Me" were featured in Nintendo GameCube game 1080° Avalanche. Cauterize toured with bands such as EvanescenceThree Days Grace and Hoobastank. They left Wind-Up Records citing creative differences after the album, not pleased with the direction being forced upon them. On July 22nd of 2005, they released their second album, Paper Wings, without a label.
