Cattivik

Cattivik is a successful Italian humoristic comic book character created by Bonvi (Franco Bonvicini). The character first appeared in the magazine Tiramolla on 19 July 1970. Later, the development of the character was given to one of his assistants, Silver (creator of Lupo Alberto, another successful comic strip in Italy), because Bonvi was too busy with his other works (among them, the famous Sturmtruppen). The character is a more or less declared parody of another successful series in Italy, Diabolik, created by the Giussani Sisters. The character quickly became popular in Italy because of his anti-heroic nature (he is a burglar and general criminal, lives in sewers, takes showers with toxic waste and hates everything "good natured") and politically incorrect humour (fart and burp jokes, italian politicians caricatures and social commentary).

Cattivik è un personaggio dei fumetti creato da  Bonvi. È una delle tante creazioni del fumettista, tuttavia è stata portata al successo dal suo allievo Silver.Il personaggio è un grottesco e sfortunato ladro in calzamaglia nera. Vede la luce nel 1965 su un giornale studentesco modenese come parodia dei ben più scaltri e cinici ladri e criminali Diabolik e Satanik; è riproposto il 19 luglio 1970, in veste di personaggio completo, sulle pagine di Tiramolla. Presto la realizzazione delle avventure viene affidata, come accennato, a Silver, il quale le pubblica su numerose riviste dell'epoca (come il Corriere dei ragazzi) per poi infine, nel 1989, inaugurare una serie autonoma che ha per titolo il suo nome.
