Capacitance Voltage Plot

a technique used to characterize the amount of electrically active defects and mobile contaminants in a dielectric. Oxide fixed charge, oxide trapped charge, interface trapped charges, number of interface traps and mobile charge may all be measured. The technique may also be used to measure the profile of impurities in silicon.
