Coma
In medicine, a coma (from the Greek koma, meaning deep sleep) is a state of unconsciousness, lasting more than six hours in which a person cannot be awakened, fails to respond normally to painful stimuli, light, sound, lacks a normal sleep-wake cycle and does not initiate voluntary actions. A person in a state of coma is described as comatose. Although, according to the Glasgow Coma Scale, a person with confusion is considered to be in the mildest coma.

Koma
In der Medizin ist ein voll ausgeprägtes Koma (griechisch , „tiefer Schlaf“) die schwerste Form einer quantitativen Bewusstseinsstörung. In diesem Zustand kann das Individuum auch durch starke äußere Stimuli wie wiederholte Schmerzreize nicht geweckt werden.

Konferenz der deutschsprachigen Mathematikfachschaften
Die Konferenz der deutschsprachigen Mathematikfachschaften (KoMa) ist eine regelmäßige Zusammenkunft mathematischer Fachschaften aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum. Die KoMa ist damit gleichzeitig die deutsche Bundesfachschaftentagung Mathematik, aus welcher sie auch ursprünglich hervorgegangen ist. Zur Teilnahme an einer KoMa berechtigt sind nicht nur Mitglieder der Fachschaftsräte, sondern grundsätzlich alle Studenten eines mathematischen Studiengangs.

Coma
Le terme « coma » signifie « sommeil profond » en grec ancien. Le coma est une abolition de la conscience et de la vigilance non réversible par les stimulations. Il témoigne d'un dysfonctionnement cérébral sévère (d'origine traumatique, toxique ou médicale). Il constitue une urgence diagnostique et thérapeutique.

Coma
Coma (även kallad dold CLI-bugg) är en bugg som drabbade Cyrix 6x86-, 6x86L- och tidiga 6x86MX-processorer. Buggen tillät användare utan speciella systemprivilegier att exekvera kod som fick processorn att gå in i en ändlös och ej avbrytbar loop.

Coma
COMA - zespół rockowy założony w czerwcu 1998 roku w Łodzi.
Pierwszym wydawnictwem grupy był singiel Skaczemy/Pasażer. Pod koniec 2003 roku udało się grupie podpisać kontrakt z BMG Poland, co umożliwiło rozpoczęcie nagrań do debiutanckiej płyty - Pierwsze Wyjście z Mroku. Przed wydaniem pierwszego studyjnego albumu zespół zyskał popularność koncertując u boku Kazika, Sweet Noise, Acid Drinkers i T.Love.

Spiaczka
Śpiączka, koma (łac. coma) - głębokie zaburzenie świadomości. Często jest wynikiem uszkodzenia centralnego tworu siatkowatego. Może to być uszkodzenie pierwotne lub wtórne, powstałe w sposób pośredni wskutek np. procesu ekspansywnego lub uszkodzenia pochodzenia naczyniowego.
Śpiączka może być również wynikiem zaburzeń powodujących rozlane uszkodzenie systemu nerwowego, np. w przebiegu zatrucia, bez względu na przyczynę.
