CARDING DRUM

The large rapidly revolving cylinder of the CARDING MACHINE, covered with several million wire teeth, that picks up (pulls out) the cotton FIBERS and, working in conjunction with other rollers, combs the FIBERS parallel and removes small particles of dirt and knotted FIBERS.
