- Burgundy (French region), French region, a modern-day French administrative région,
- The historical Duchy of Burgundy roughly corresponded to modern Burgundy (French region) for part of its history
- Franche-Comté, former French province and modern-day French région. Originally the Free County of Burgundy in the Holy Roman Empire.
- Kingdom of Burgundy, two different kingdoms in different periods
- Upper Burgundy, a duchy of the Carolingian Empire
- Lower Burgundy, a kingdom which merged with Upper Burgundy to form the second kingdom of Burgundy
- Burgundian Netherlands, a medieval agglomeration of territories centred further north than any of the above

Burgund (französisch Bourgogne []) ist eine Region im Zentrum Frankreichs. Es hat eine Fläche von 31.741 km² und ca. 1,61 Mio. Einwohner. Regionalhauptstadt ist Dijon.

Burgundia
Burgundia (fr. ) - kraina historyczna i region administracyjny, położony w centralnej Francji. Graniczy z pięcioma regionami: Centre - od wschodu, Île-de-France i Szampania-Ardeny - od północy, Franche-Comté - od zachodu, a Rodan-Alpy i Owernia - od południa. Sam region dzieli się na 4 departamenty: Côte-d'Or, Nièvre, Saône-et-Loire i Yonne. Nazwa regionu wywodzi się od germańskiego plemienia Burgundów.
