The International Bureau of Weights and Measures , is an international standards organisation, one of three such organisations established to maintain the International System of Units (SI) under the terms of the Metre Convention (Convention du Mètre). The organisation is usually referred to by its French initialism, BIPM.

Internationales Büro für Maß und Gewicht (kurz: IBMG) ist der deutsche Name des französischen Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (abgekürzt: BIPM). Das BIPM ist eine Internationale Organisation mit der Aufgabe, ein weltweit einheitliches und eindeutiges System von Maßen auf Basis des Internationalen Einheitensystems zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Internationella byrån för mått och vikt (av franska Bureau international des poids et mesures (BIPM)), är en tillsynsorganisation för meterkonventionen som arbetar under uppsikt av Conférence générale des poids et mesures. Dess uppgift är att ställa SI-systemet till förfogande över hela världen som ett enhetligt och entydigt måttsystem. Organisationen har sitt säte i Sèvres nära Paris.
