Bulusan

Bulusan is a 5th class municipality in the province of Sorsogon, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 20,469 people in 4,218 households.

Bulusan oder Mount Bulusan oder Bulusan Vulkan ist der südlichste Vulkan auf der Insel Luzon auf den Philippinen. Er liegt in der Provinz Sorsogon in der Region Bicol, 70 Kilometer südwestlich des Vulkans Mayon und ca. 250 Kilometer südöstlich der Hauptstadt Manila.

Bulusan – czynny  wulkan na wyspie Luzon na Filipinach; zaliczany do stratowulkanów. Współrzędne geograficzne . Wysokość 1565 m n.p.m.; średnica krateru ok. 300 m, głębokość ok. 50 m. Usytuowany w wielkiej kalderze o średnicy 11 km uformowanej ponad 36000 lat temu. Na południowo-wschodnim zboczu znajdują się trzy mniejsze kratery, w dwóch z nich utworzyły się jeziora.Erupcje są notowane od 1852 r., ostatnia w 1995 r.

Bulusan is een gemeente in de Filipijnse provincie Sorsogon in het zuidoosten van het eiland Luzon. Volgens de laatste officiële telling uit 2000 had de gemeente een inwonertal van 20.469 mensen verdeeld over 4218 huishoudens.
